"We are thrilled to be opening our first boutique in the cosmopolitan city of Delhi. Estée Lauder is already well known with many women in the capital and we are looking forward to make our best selling products available to these customers. We are confident that the brand will be a huge success in this market," said Sonia Michon Floc'hlay, Vice President and Regional Brand Director, Estee Lauder Europe, Middle East & Africa. "I was always fascinated by Indian culture and beauty and there are lots of Indian communities around the world who truly believed in our brand so this inspired us to open our stores in India. The Mumbai store was our first ever stand alone cum luxury store, then, we thought of Delhi, as this is the capital city and women here aspire to buy selective luxurious products" she added.
The store will feature products which include Re-Nutriv luxury skin care line, Advanced Night Repair, Double Wear long-lasting liquid and powder foundations. Signature Hydra Lustre Lipstick in an elegant golden flute case, and fragrances including Estee Lauder Pleasures and Pure White Linen. "Taking cues from the spring-summer runways, Estee Lauder's has some amazing products like limited edition Fuchsia Now Colour Collection which is a feminine, flirty and fun colour collection and encapsulates the trend of wearing bold colour combined with soft neutrals. Then there is the limited edition Fleur de Lys Shimmer Powder, with a palette that combines fresh pink shades with soft muted neutrals” said Anjalee Gaekware, Sales and Education Manager, Estee Lauder India.
Not only this, the brand has introduced a state-of-the-art Advanced Skin Care Profiling System for the first time in India through this store. This revolutionary technology is able to analyze skin from multiple perspectives to help identify the perfect skincare regime quickly and accurately. These include sebum, lines and wrinkles, visible spots, radiance and pores, making it Estee Lauder's most comprehensive skin analysis ever. The whole diagnosis takes less than five minutes and allows the Beauty Advisor to tailor the perfect skincare solution for her customer.
Then there is unique engraving machine that allows customers to personalize products including Estee Lauder's golden powder compacts, lip glosses and lipstick cases with a monogram, name or a short message! So for Sonia which one is better market Delhi or Mumbai, "I think Delhi for being a capital city is very critical, and moreover India is a long term investment plan for us, so we have planned to open two more in the coming months in Delhi. We have already finalized two locations as well
